In the Nantucket collection, it serves two purposes: it gives the towels a more distinctive, coastal character than a standard terry weave, and it produces a lighter, more open fabric structure that dries faster between uses.

Wash before first use. Machine wash warm with a color-safe detergent alongside similar colors. Tumble dry on low. Avoid bleach. Go easy on fabric conditioners, as these reduce absorbency over time. The towels will feel softer and more absorbent after the first few washes.
