Meet The First Layer Collection
We designed the First Layer Collection to be the starting point for a better day at home. Tyler, Founder and CEO, explains, "This is something that people have been asking us for... they're like, I need something to sleep in. And I need underwear that mimics the feel and experience of your bedding and our lounge-wear apparel. And so this first layer has done just that."

The Science Behind the Softness
Creating the perfect "first layer" meant going back to the drawing board to engineer a unique fabric and perfect a universally flattering fit. The goal was to develop something that felt incredible against the skin, offered structure without being restrictive, and looked as good as it felt.
We started with our expertise in premium viscose from bamboo, but knew this collection needed something different. Christian, our VP of Product, notes, "We combined it with some cotton, and what that did is it gave it just a little bit more body." We then added a touch of spandex for gentle stretch, carefully balancing it to avoid the tight, "plasticy" feel common in other undergarments.
The result is a proprietary fabric that delivers on every level. This unique fabric has been so well-received that the collection has been flying off the shelves since its debut.

The perfect fabric demanded an equally perfect fit. "We spent a lot of time on the fit to get it just right," Christian says. "None of it's tight... but it stays really flattering."
